Comfortable Accommodations

The room I stayed in was very clean and had an incredibly comfortable mattress. I loved the four pillows provided; they made it hard to get out of bed in the morning! The amenities in the bathroom were plentiful, with a good supply of towels and toiletries available.

Overall, the hotel was a decent place to stay with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was friendly, which made for an enjoyable experience. However, my check-in was delayed significantly since my room wasn’t ready, and the breakfast could have used a bit more variety. Additionally, a negative experience with a fraudulently charged smoking fee left a sour impression on my stay. While the hotel has great amenities like a pool and gym that I didn't use, the lack of responsiveness from management was disappointing.

I had a mixed experience at the Grand Rapids hotel. On the plus side, the renovations really made a difference, providing a clean atmosphere and comfortable beds, plus the staff was friendly which made my stay enjoyable. However, I found the cleanliness in some areas lacking, particularly in the restrooms. Overall, if they can improve the maintenance, it could be a great place to stay.
